SECRETARY-GENERAL CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACK AGAINST MILITARY COMPOUND IN SAUDI ARABIA

LONDON, 26 June -- Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali was shocked to learn of the terrorist attack last night against a military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

The Secretary-General condemns in the strongest possible terms this latest act of terrorism and calls upon the international community to strengthen its efforts to combat international terrorism.

The Secretary-General extends his condolences to the families of the victims.
