SECRETARY-GENERAL CONDEMNS IN STRONGEST TERMS BAGHDAD TERRORIST BOMBING

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General condemns, in the strongest of terms, the terrorist bombing in northern Baghdad today, which has reportedly killed over 50 people and left scores more injured.  He extends his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of this heinous attack.
