OF MILITARY STAFF COMMITTEE IN OCTOBER

In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for October:

Security Council

Mihnea Ioan Motoc, Permanent Representative of Romania, succeeds Lauro L. Baja, Permanent Representative of the Philippines, as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Lieutenant General Victor E. Renuart, Jr. ( United States) succeeds Rear Admiral Anthony K. Dymock ( United Kingdom) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
