RESURFACING THE A48 SOUTH OF LYDNEY, GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Thursday 13:27

The Highways Agency will resurface a section of the eastbound carriageway of the A48 between Lydney and Chepstow, with the work starting on Monday 14 June and lasting for a week and a half.

The resurfacing will take place between Stroat and Netherend on both lanes of the eastbound carriageway only.

This essential work will provide better skid resistance and a quieter surface. It will take place between 9.30am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, and 9.00am until 3.00pm Saturday and Sunday. During the resurfacing, traffic signals will be in operation and motorists will be escorted through the works in convoy. A 10mph speed limit will be in place.
