The northbound M11 exit slip road at Madingley, Cambridge (M11 J13) will be closed this weekend for essential repairs and resurfacing.
Work to reconstruct and repair the northbound M11 exit slip road will take place from 3.00pm Saturday 22 May until 6.00am Monday 24 May. Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys as the slip road will be closed during this time and a diversion route will be in operation.
David Lee, Highways Agency, project manager, said:
"The slip road is being closed so work can be carried out safely and quickly."
Traffic for Cambridge or the A428 will be diverted along the M11 north to Junction 14 to join the A14 eastbound and exit at the Histon Interchange (J32). Then traffic for Cambridge will use the A1049 into the city. Traffic for the A428 will re-join the A14 westbound and then onto the A428.
