Logo competition: the ten finalists

Donnelly Emma (Ireland):

Emma Donnelly was born on July 24th in 1984. The 22 year old is studying at the Limerick School of Art & Design in the field of Graphic Design. She specialises in typography, screen work and illustration. Besides studying she enjoys ballet, music and photography.

Feltus Fabienne (Luxembourg):

Fabienne Feltus is 25 years old; she likes fashion, music, snowboarding and trendsetting. She is studying at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in the field of graphic design.

Gimeno Lopez Eloi (Spain):

Eloi Gimeno Lopez is studying graphic design at the Elisava school in Barcelona. Born in 1982, the 24 year old is very interested in typography, calligraphy, book and magazine design and photography. He also studied for a year at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki as an Erasmus exchange student.

Jekabsone Zane(Latvia):

Zane Jekabsone is a student at the Riga Design School. There you can either study design of landscape or interior design.

Lundgren Jenny (Sweden):

Jenny Lundgren is currently studying at the School of Design and Crafts (HDK) in Göteborg. Her studies focus mainly on questions related to ecological and social sustainability. Born on September 2nd in 1978, Jenny has a raving passion for the ‘Lindyhop’, also known as the ‘Jitterbug’, which is a swing dance from the 1930s.

Ranki Matti (Finland):

Matti Ranki is a 25 year-old advertising student from Finland. He studies at the Arts Academy at the Turku University of Applied Sciences and his main subject area is marketing and graphic design. Besides his studies, he works as a freelance graphic designer and plays drums in a rock band.

Rosbo Tore (Denmark):

Tore Rosbo is interested in many creative disciplines which range from painting, to creating Urban Street Marketing programs. The 27 year old is studying at the Danmarks Desingskole. His main subject is general graphic design which covers posters, layout, typography and visual identities including logos.

Skrzypczak Szymon (Poland):

Szymon Skrzypczak was born on October 3rd in 1983 and he is currently a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. He specialises in graphic design and illustration. Besides his studies the 23 year old likes drawing, sculpture, design, music and sport.

Veteikyte, Jurate (Lithuania):

Jurate Veteikyte studied applied graphics at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, which is a combination of graphic design and visual art. She graduated this year. The 24 year-old’s main interests lie in art, nature, cinema and travelling.

Vrtich, Tomas (Slovakia):

Since 2004 Tomas Vrtich has been studying at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Tomas is 25 years old and his main subject is graphic design. Previously he had already graduated from the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava.
