In the face of the deteriorating living conditions suffered by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the EC Commission will provide supplementary food aid consisting of 6,000 tonnes of wheat flour, to be distributed through the services of UNRWA. Moreover, for strict humanitarian considerations, the Commission will make available an important grant through non governemental organisations in order to alleviate the hardship of the 415 Palestinians who have been expelled by Israeli government, and to their families in the Occupied Territories. * * * *
